M.O.R.E. HISTORY

Military Outreach began in 1980 in Denver, Colorado at the Bear Valley church of Christ. Its aim was to provide spiritual training within the U.S. military through sound gospel preachers and Bible teachers. In the ensuing years until 2003, biblical instruction was provided to overseas military churches in England, Germany, Korea, and Japan. Then, in 2003, the Mayfair church of Christ Huntsville, Alabama adopted the acronym, M.O.R.E., for its new military ministry. Since its inception, countless U.S. troops have been written to, prayed for, and encouraged during multiple deployments.
