The AMEN (American Military Evangelizing Nations) Ministry has ministered to tens of thousands of Christians in the military for nearly thirty years.  The White's Ferry Road church of Christ was our sponsor until 2009.  We continue to have a strong relationship with the that great church, but the Hendersonville, NC church of Christ is now our sponsoring church. Our mission is to serve Christians in the United States Military encouraging them to evangelize their friends and plant churches where they are.  One important goal is to connect local churches of Christ near U. S. Military Installations with Christians traveling the world. We provide churches with names, addresses and personal needs of Christians moving into their area through which we encourage and equip local churches to reach out to military people in their communities.

World Bible School

Since the 1950's, WBS has been sending Bible correspondence courses free-of-chrage to students around the world. We now serve over 2 million students from 141 nations. The courses were first written by Christians for Christians who served in the armed forces overseas. These men and women separated by war and distance from other believers had difficulty finding opportunities to gather for fellowship, Bible study, prayer and encouragement. To their delight, the Christian service men found their fellow soldiers had a great interest and hunger for learning the Word of God and they began sharing the materials with thousands who were not Christians. WBS continues to send Bible study correspondence courses to eager students through the postal mail, by email, and on the world wide web. Of course, they are all STILL free of charge. We encourage you to continue through the site and discover how people's deepest needs are being met and their lives are being changed by learning more about God and His will through World Bible School.

The World Video Bible School® is your home for non-denominational Bible study materials on video, audio, CD-ROM, DVD and the printed page. The Video Bible Institute is a self-paced video correspondence school with a curriculum emphasizing faithful, conservative Bible teaching. We have sent out over 1 MILLION videos or DVDs to all 50 states and 120 other countries. WVBS material has been sent to over 160 Bible schools.

This website is an informational resource tool for those Christian workers and families living and serving in Europe.  As a ministry of churches of Christ, the Euro-American Family Retreat is the annual autumn event in which we gather for a spiritual feast.  This website will provide this community updates on future retreats as well as helpful resources that are available for Christian workers and families living in Europe.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN M.O.R.E.  ?

M.O.R.E. meets on the second and fourth of the month on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Mayfair Church of Christ building in Huntsville, Alabama.  Each meeting begins with prayer for each service member by name.  Afterwards we share administrative notes and news from notes received from our servicemen and women, and write cards or letters.

WHAT IS A SPIRITUAL POWER KIT (SPK)?

The SPK packet includes a camouflage-covered New Testament (NIV) Bible, including Psalms and Proverbs, a World Bible School (WBS) Introduction Lesson, Plan of Salvation card, Basic Bible Reference card, and informational tracts about the New Testament church.
